The Verdict

Break-in takes a proper week of wear, but once the Talus settles it becomes the boot you forget you're wearing. Waterproofing held up through three river crossings without a single damp sock.

Strengths

  • Sole holds an edge well on wet rock

Weaknesses

  • Needs 40–50km of break-in before it's fully comfortable
